The Year of Positivity

1241

At the start of 2008, I made a couple of simple yet powerful resolutions. I shared these with my college girlfriends on our blog, but recently realized I never brought my “enlightenment” to the Jeff & Staci blog viewers. My deepest apologies for not spreading the positivity:-) That is what I am embracing: A Positivity Movement!!! So here ya go (wisdoms from Peace425ed):

Jan. 3 – My 2008 resolutions are simple: be positive (which translates into embracing life each day, not sweating the small stuff, and letting the people I care about know it) and improving my correspondence (which will now be easier with this blog!).

Life flies by sooo fast. As John Lennon said, “life is what happens while you are making plans!” So true. I listen to that song on my Ipod riding to school and it makes me smile cause I finally made some plans that made me have a life change. I miss having you all so close by. And I bawled my eyes out today leaving, but I am so happy I made this decision. I have learned a lot about myself.

We are capable of so much, we just need to sometimes take a deep breath and leap!!! We never know where we will land.

My college girls also had some wisdom of their own to share:
Robin’s tip – “Get off your butt and never stop getting out into the world” (ie, don’t sit home and wallow on the dark days, get out the door and life might bring you some pleasant surprise).
Barbie’s Aunt Rosie’s favorite quote – “Today is the best day of my life” (turns out Aunt Rosie says this a lot, but she MEANS it each time!! What an attitude!).

So what does all this mean?

Positivity is contagious! Never stop getting out the door! And MAKE today the best day of your life!

Peace out~
